A Great Time Was Had By All At Mayel's Live Drumming Workshop!

Mayel had so much fun teaching her 'The Art of Performing to Live Music' Workshop on the 26th Janurary. Here she and her students are improvising to Malfuf, Whada kebira & Saidi rhythms provided by the talented Sallam Alsheik playing live on the tabla! Though very intensive, Mayel's students had a great time learning how to recognise the different rhythms, improvise to them and interact with the drummer. Mayel and Sallam were extremely proud of the students as they each took turns to improvise individually with Sallam at the end of the workshop. Well done girls!
