Mayel to star at the Fantasia Festival 7th Dec 2019!

Mayel will be teaching an exclusive workshop at this year's Fantasia Festival hosted by the renowned JWAAD school of belly dance on Saturday 7th 2019 at the London Irish Centre in Camden. Mayel is very excited to be teaching and performing alongside other amazing professional dancers including international belly dance star Oxana Bazaeva who will be performing for the first time ever in the UK!

In her workshop: ‘Crazy Orientale Combos’ Mayel will merge basic technique with unusual twists to teach a number of interesting dance combinations she has developed with her graceful, fluid and percussive style. These combinations can be taken away and used to create unique and exciting belly dance choreographies.

Mayel will also be performing at the event alongside her students who will be performing a theatrical Baladi choreography featuring a playful drum solo that will be taught in her current regular classes starting from 29th November 2019. Click here to learn more about her latest drum solo course.

This year the festival is going to be jam packed with exciting belly dance activities including workshops, a souk, talks/debates and performances. Mayel would love to see you there!
